December 2018 Meeting

Wilson ONE never ceases to amaze us and today was no different! We had a great turnout of 50 incredible women and these incredible women are helping to dress other women who are in need. Everyone brought in dresses, business suits, shoes and accessories, to help 3 wonderful programs: Liz Reese with Brooks House ( , Nora Jackson with Healing Broken Vessels ( , and Betty Byrd with Adult Education ( . Hope we can help make a difference!

We also had a surprise guest, Donna Odum with Henderson’s Florist ( , who taught some of us to make Christmas bows. We had many who produced beautiful bows!

  • Most importantly, it’s what keeps Wilson ONE an amazing organization, Marie Farley swore in our new officers.
  • Medana Hobbs Hemontolor as President
  • Saranne Winfield as Vice President
  • Karen Fleming Rudzinski as Secretary
  • Elaine Nawiesniak as Treasurer

2019 will be just as amazing!

September 2018 Meeting

When is the last time you visited one of our libraries in Wilson County? Have small children or like to read yourself? Go visit one of our libraries! My favorite is the box they offer for rent that has movies and a bag of popcorn! My kind of rental box!

Alesia Burnley, with the Wilson County Library, shared some really great information with us today at our Wilson ONE meeting. It’s amazing what they offer! Visit their websites and check out all that they do for Wilson County.

Wilson ONE donated needed items such as glue sticks, paper plates, construction paper and card stock paper. We are always willing to help!

We even had time to take a photo with our Sherry’s Run shirts. A huge thanks to Marie Farley for providing those to our Wilson ONE team!

And ladies, we had 53 today for our meeting! WOW! That’s what I’m talking about! Let’s do it again and pack the room next month on October 4th. Same time, same place.

August ’18 Meeting

WOW! What an amazing Wilson ONE meeting! It was a packed house!

We heard from a new business owner, Whitney Simpson, with Bloom Yoga. Her ribbon cutting is Thursday, August 9 at 10:30 at 104 West Main Street in Lebanon. Please check her out!

Since it’s right around the corner, September 8 at 8:00 a.m., we also heard from Corrie Cluck with Sherry’s Run. Ladies, this is an amazing organization! If you don’t know what they do, please ask. Get involved! We heard from the wife of a cancer survivor today and what Sherry’s Run has done for her husband and family. It was very emotional and inspirational.

Wilson ONE donated tons of gift cards for all the families they reach out to!
